SUSTAINABILITY
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a set of 17 global goals created by the United Nations through a process involving its 193 member states along with nongovernmental organisations and the private sector.
The goals, which were launched in 2015, include a broad range of sustainable development issues, including poverty and hunger, improving health and education, making cities more sustainable, combating climate change, and protecting oceans and forests.
We recognise the importance of contributions from the private sector in reaching the SDGs and are strongly committed to supporting them. The Panama Fruit Company's people, expertise, collaborations and financial resources help advance the SDGs with a particular emphasis on ending hunger, achieving food security, improving nutrition, and promoting sustainable agriculture.
